Application Fee This is a 12-month membership - Membership expires Dec 31st This membership is for individuals only Requirements Persons who: a. Have completed a post-graduate degree in the environmental management field at a recognized academic institution; OR b. Have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline, AND have at least 3 years work experience in the environmental management field with a proven track record and relevant knowledge and skills in the field; OR c. Have at least 6 years work experience in the environmental management field with a proven track record and relevant knowledge and skills in the field regardless of education level obtained. Benefits 1. Participate in EMAHK public and "members only" events at members rate 2. Bring a friend to EMAHK "members only" events at non-members rate (where offered) 3. Voting rights at the EMAHK's AGM 4. Run for office in the EMAHK Executive Committee Note: New members approved between October and December each year will be asked to pay the membership dues for the following year upon membership activation. | |||
Membership Refund Policy
1) The $100 Application Fee (for Full and Certified Membership) is non-refundable even if the application is not approved.
2) Any membership fees paid will not be refunded, including voluntary withdrawal from EMAHK membership and membership revocation due to misconduct.
3) Members applying for conversion to a different membership type during the membership year will not be refunded for the remaining period of their current membership. The membership fee for the new membership type will be charged on a pro-rated basis.
