The ACCP is an association of independent GTHA-based companies committed to promoting the interests of its membership and the sector through advocacy and sharing best practices. Companies that meet the eligibility criteria may apply for a one-year, non-transferable membership.


All Production House and Post Production members must have an ongoing, physical office in the GTHA and employ an executive producer (or equivalent) who resides in the GTHA and be "Independent Commercial Producers," meaning a proprietorship, partnership, firm or corporation engaged in the physical and/or digital production (including post-production and commercial music) of commercials as an independent producer who, as part of such production, employs employees for their commercial production services and is neither wholly nor partly owned, operated or controlled, directly or indirectly, by an advertising agency or an advertiser nor has on its staff an employee of an advertising agency or advertiser.

Production Company Members 4,500.00/year + HST

Post Production Company Members 1000.00/year + HST

Supplier Members 1000.00/year + HST

POST PRODUCTION MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION


Post Production Company Members shall be independently owned and controlled post production companies engaged primarily in the business of post-producing commercials for

television, cinema and/or the internet; and is neither wholly nor partly owned, operated or controlled, directly or indirectly, by an advertising agency or an advertiser, nor has on its staff an employee of an advertising agency or advertiser; and have applied and been accepted for Post Production membership in the Corporation and is up to date on its yearly dues.

Membership Eligibility Criteria:

By submitting this Production House Membership Application you agree to the following:


  • Agree to be bound by the bylaws of the corporation and its code of conduct, which can be found in the About ACCP section of our website.


  • Agree to a statement of principle that you are joining to be active, productive and committed members of the commercial production community.


  • Agree to have an ongoing, physical office in the GTHA and, with respect to Production House Members and Post Production Members, employ an executive producer (or equivalent) who resides in the GTHA.


  • Agree to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.


  • Agree to promptly pay annual dues by transferring to payments@theaccp.tv. Alternatively, members can mail a cheque to ACCP Membership, P.O. BOX 92091, RPO Piazza Villagio, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4H 3J3.

ACCP is a private,not-for-profit, industry trade association funded and controlled by private individuals and companies dedicated to pursuing the objectives and common interests of its members. Accordingly, ACCP will only approve an application for membership from an individual or company who is known to and referred to ACCP for membership by an existing member in good standing of ACCP. ACCP also expressly reserves the right to refuse any application for membership if, in the opinion of ACCP reasonably exercised, the membership of that applicant would not be consistent or compatible with the objectives or mission statement of ACCP or the commonly held interests of the membership of ACCP. 

If your application is accepted, an invoice will be sent to you at the email address above. Upon receipt of dues your information will be listed on the ACCP website.

ACCP CONFIDENTIALITY / NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT


During the term of our membership in the ACCP, _________________________ acknowledges

that it will be given access to information that is deemed sensitive and/or confidential.

 

Member Company agrees that:

 

a) Member Company shall not share this information, material or documents (information) with non ACCP members or persons outside of the ACCP who are not authorized to have this information.

 

b) Member Company shall not publish such information.

 

c) Member Company shall not communicate such information without authority.

 

d) Member Company shall not use or disclose any such information for other than authorized official purposes.

 

e) Member Company shall not remove any such information from the premises without permission.

 

f) Should Member Company receive any such information, Member Company will accept full responsibility to ensure the confidentiality and safe-keeping of this information.

 

g) Member Company shall take every reasonable step to prevent unauthorized parties from examining and/or copying any such information.

 

Member Company understands that these rules apply both during and after its membership with the ACCP and that any infringement by Member Company of these rules may be grounds for the termination of my membership and/or legal action. If Member Company agrees to these terms, please sign this agreement below. We look forward to a good working relationship, and you can reach the Board any time with questions or concerns.
