AF&R Ambulance Memberships (Basic and Plus) are the lifesaving ambulance membership services of Ashland Fire & Rescue in cooperation with Mercy Flights Air Ambulance. AF&R is the emergency ambulance membership program of our fire department. Being a member protects you and your family from the high cost of emergency medical transport.

Your medical insurance may not cover all your expenses and without AF&R you might find yourself paying up to $2000 for emergency ground service. With an AF&R Basic membership, all of your deductibles, copays and any other out of pocket costs are covered…even if you do not have insurance. You don't have to worry!

AF&R Basic: Emergency Ground Ambulance Services $66/yr

• AF&R Plus: Emergency GroundPLUSAir Ambulance Services $122/yr AF&R Plus includes our regular AF&R Basic services plus emergency air ambulance and inter-hospital transport. Air transport fees can cost more than $10,000 out of pocket. With AF&R Plus, you are supporting ground and air services while protecting your loved ones and finances. AF&R Plus members should refer to Mercy Flight's Terms of Agreement.
