Founded in 1970, the Black Business Association (BBA), headquartered in Los Angeles, the oldest active ethnic business organization in the state of California, has been committed to ensuring that African American and other diverse business owners benefit from our advocacy efforts to impact, improve and implement policy that improves access to contracting and procurement opportunities with the public and private sector, in addition to providing access to financial resources.     A Regular member shall be a self-employed Black businessperson or a business that is controlled by a Black person, whose dues are current, and who has provided all other information as the board of directors shall from time to time require. Each regular member shall have the right to vote in person, or virtually or by proxy with one vote on all matters coming before the membership. Each regular member shall be entitled to all rights and privileges regarding the business and activities of the Black Business Association.
