Membership is open to all counselors in an educational setting, as well as retired members of the counseling community.
Professional Members are employed as a school counselor, school counseling consultant, counselor educator, coordinator in elementary, middle, senior high, and post high school setting in Iowa. College/Career Transition Counselors who are licensed school counselors are also included in the "Professional" membership category.
(College/Career Transition Counselors who are not licensed school counselors should sign up for the Associate Membership.)
Retired Members are retired as a school counselor, school counseling consultant, counselor educator, coordinator in elementary, middle, senior high, and post high school setting in Iowa.
Student Members are currently enrolled full- or part-time in a school counseling graduate program.
Associate Membership is for anyone who does not meet the above category requirements, including College/Career Transition Counselors who are not licensed school counselors.
