Since 2011, Eric Chong has been leading the overall company strategy for Siemens Hong Kong & Macao and driving infrastructure projects and sustainable solutions in the field of energy, buildings, mobility and industry. Mr. Chong is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Business Environment Council (BEC) and is serving as the Chair of Climate Change Business Forum, an advisory group under BEC dedicated to raising awareness of Climate Change among businesses.
Mr. Chong started his career in Singapore with GEC Plc of UK before joining Siemens. He received his education in Singapore and Australia with degrees in Electronics Engineering and Business Administration. In addition, he holds an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.
Mr. George Tee joined Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation as Chief Technology Officer on 1 February 2017. He is responsible for shaping the development strategy of technology clusters and application platforms, as well as overseeing the laboratory services and HKSTP’s IT team. Working closely with the executive team, George plays a critical role in strengthening the I&T ecosystem in Hong Kong Science Park. He and his team will be responsible in bringing in reputable companies and technology to the Park.
George has over 20 years of experience in business technology and operations with proven leadership in driving transformation and enhancing corporate agility and efficiency. Prior to joining HKSTP, he was previously Operating Executive of Silver Lake Partners, a leading global technology focused private equity firm, advising and steering multiple portfolio companies to pursue strategic goals.
Dr. Winnie Tang JP is an Honorary Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong. She is one of the locally-bred IT entrepreneurs of Hong Kong. In the 1990s, Dr. Tang founded Esri China (Hong Kong) Limited to develop and promote Geographic Information System (GIS) software and solutions.
Dr. Tang is also the Founder and Honorary President of Smart City Consortium. Over the years, she has been actively advocating the use of technology and sharing her views regarding the ICT industry, eHealth, environmental conservation, entrepreneurship and smart city through her services in government and non-government organizations in Hong Kong.
As Executive Vice President of Siemens AG, Dr. Norbert Gaus has led the strategic research and development initiative “Digitalization and Automation” within Corporate Technology since May 1, 2015. After earning a degree in electrical engineering from Technical University Munich, he worked initially as a research assistant at the German Aerospace Center. In addition, he earned a Ph.D. in engineering from Ruhr University Bochum.
He joined Siemens AG/Corporate Technology in 1991. Between 1994 and 2001, Gaus held various positions in the Information and Communication Networks Group with the rank of Vice President. In the following four years, he served as President and CEO of Siemens Corporate Research Inc., Princeton, NJ, USA. From 2005 to when he assumed his current position, he held various positions of responsibility in the Imaging Systems Division, ultimately as CEO of the Customer Solutions Division (Sales, Service, Healthcare IT) of Siemens Healthcare.
Mr. Andre Blumberg leads and strategically manages the IT functions for CLP Power Hong Kong and is responsible for CLP Group technology standards, policies and IT commercial agreements. He also provides vision and leadership across CLP in the development and implementation of viable and sustainable technology and business solutions that align with and enable CLP business strategy and achieve Group synergy.
Mr. Blumberg joined CLP in 2001 and has held several senior positions within Group IT. He holds Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration and in Information Systems from the University of Cologne and participated in Executive Development Programs at IMD and Richard Ivey School of Business. Prior to joining CLP, he served various Fortune 100 clients across the Asia-Pacific region as a Management Consultant with PwC based in Singapore.
Mr. Blumberg serves on IT Committees of several international Chambers of Commerce and other advisory committees. He is the winner of the 2016 Hong Kong CIO Awards in the Large Enterprise category.
Ir. Dr. Tony Lee Kar Yun is currently the Chief of Operations Engineering responsible for directing all engineering services in enhancing asset worth to business and ensuring whole life-cycle asset management and renewal meeting safety, business and customer requirements. He has over 32 years of railway systems maintenance, design and engineering experiences, and is also an active railway system researcher, particularly on using sensors to monitor performance of equipment. He is now the Co-investigator of the "Smart Railway Sensor Networks" research project run by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and holds few Patents on fiber optic sensors inventions for railway applications. He is specialized in Foresight-Driven Asset Management, Systems & Operation Assurance, Smart Railway Development and Predictive & Prescriptive Maintenance using Big Data Analytic.
Keith Tsui is the Data & Analytics Director at Lan Kwai Fong Group. He is responsible for various data driven initiatives at LKF Group. He also heads up the newly formed ‘LKF Labs’, a group that specializes in innovation and technology projects, including analytics, VR/AR and gaming. Earlier in his career, Keith did work specializing in Big Data analytic tools, in addition to R&D and Product Development. Keith has taught and guest lectured various Big Data-related courses including: HKU MBA “Business Intelligence and Big Data”, HKUST MBA “Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics”, CityU “Strategic Retail Management”, HKPC “Big Data and Business Intelligence in retail industry”. Keith has two degrees from UCLA and an MBA from HK University of Science & Technology.
Dr. James Huang is currently Chairman, CTO and Co-Founder of DataInsights (Hong Kong and China) which is a leading software startup company specialized in applying Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, and other latest advanced technologies to help enterprises capitalize on new technologies to enable digital transformation and operations optimization.
Prior to establishing his second startup company, DataInsights, in Hong Kong and China, James was Chief Scientist and Chief Architect of IBM GBS, Greater China, after working at IBM U.S.A. for over 10 years. In his capacity, he was responsible for leading advanced solutions development using new technologies such as AI, IoT, Blockchain, etc. and for training and enabling technical staff in business consulting and project delivery. In recent years, James has led the technical implementation and delivery of 4 of the 10 most successful and high-impact IBM Watson AI projects executed around the world, which IBM announced and published in early 2016.
Wilfred Lau is Arup Global Transport Planning Leader, Arup East Asia Board Member, Chief Executive of Arup Vietnam, and East Asia Management Consulting Leader. He was the Chairman of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Hong Kong and has served on numerous expert committees and panels representing the consulting industry on planning, transportation and sustainability matters.
In recent years, Wilfred focuses on research and development of smart green resilient cities in Asia, advising governments on development and delivery of future generation of cities.
He is a Fellow of Institution of Civil Engineers, UK; a Fellow of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers; Registered Professional Engineer of Hong Kong and Professional Engineer of Province of Ontario, Canada.
Monika joined Siemens Austria R&D department in 1987 and continued her research in the area of artificial intelligence in cooperation with the central R&D department at Siemens Munich. From 1997 onwards she worked as project manager for several international research projects. In the following years she managed the business development and marketing group at Siemens Austria for Energy Management.
Currently she is working as Senior Manager for Sustainable Cities and Principal Key Expert Engineer for Cyber Physical Systems at the headquarter of Corporate Technology; being globally responsible for defining research road maps and strategic partnerships, screening and evaluating new technologies, managing internal and external R&D projects.
JB Monnier joined Bentley in 1994, he now serves as Senior VP Strategic Partners. During 10 years, he was based in Beijing, running the Bentley Asia-Pacific operations. He is now based in London. Dr Monnier holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and wrote a thesis on solar energy.
Waltraut Ritter is founder of Knowledge Dialogues, specializing in research and advisory services relating to innovation, knowledge and intellectual capital across the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. She works on innovation projects at the intersection between universities, government, business and civil society. Recent projects included an analysis of Open Data strategies in Asia, a resilient city indicator assessment, as well as building public sector capabilities in Myanmar. She also regularly contributes to knowledge-economy research of UNESCAP, UNESCO and OECD.
She is a founding member of the New Club of Paris, a knowledge-economy think tank, the International Council on Knowledge Management and member of APSTN (Asia Pacific Science, Technology and Society Network). Ritter has been serving on the Digital21 Strategy Advisory Committee of the HKSAR government since 2010. She is VP of the ICT committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao.

Ms. Sabine Reppert is helping international large scale companies succeed with digital business transformation. Her specialties are digital strategy development, digital leadership capability building, and transformational change management. She founded her first coaching and consulting firm in 2011 in Germany and moved her business to Hong Kong in 2014.
Ms. Reppert holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Philipps University Marburg and a Master’s degree in Business Coaching & Change Management from the European University of Applied Sciences (Euro-FH) in Germany. Before Joining Siemens Hong Kong in Aug 2000, Keith was working for Optus-Singtel in Sydney as a telecommunication specialist responsible for transmission/Access Network capacity planning and data centre implementation. During his 17 years within Siemens, he was working in the Mobility Division on mainly railway projects and progress his career from Engineer to eventually the Head of the department managing Projects, Bids, Innovation and people development. The area of responsibility were transmission data network, telephone systems, station public address announcement systems, passage display system, CCTV system, SCADA control systems and electrical switch gears for the railway overhead lines. Keith was grew the team from 8 to 80 people within 4 years and he is looking forward to a new challenge ahead. Keith is also passionate about young talent development with attendance in career fair and career talks with University undergraduates. Around 10% of his team is employed through these channels and also through internships programmes. Currently, Keith is working in the MindSphere Application Center since 1st Oct 2017 as the Siemens Hong Kong Lead for innovation ideas and software development to enable to better serve our customers and address our customers daily challenges with the application of MindSphere.
Renu Bhatia is a senior executive with a proven track record in fintech and healthtech. She is the co-founder of Asia Fintech Angels and Founding Partner of Supercharger. She is also Chairman and Co-founder of Sonikure, Technology, which has developed a non invasive drug delivery platform for the eye. She has extensive experience in investment banking, asset management and private investments, having worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and HSBC in Hong Kong. Renu is well versed in startups having started ChinaMD, and Paywise. She is a Board member and an advisor to several startups.
Renu was recognized as Asia Fintech 100 Leader in 2016, and Top 100 Women in Fintech 2018.
Renu is a Board Member of the Hong Kong Blockchain and is part of the Fintech Steering Committee at the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce. She was appointed advisor to Cyberport Entrepreneurship Group in 2018

Yuelin is Technical Director of Siemens Hong Kong & Macao. He has over 18 years of consulting experience in the civil engineering, Information technology (IT), and infrastructure planning and investment industries. He has a solid background in software and system engineering, and in-depth knowledge in urban infrastructure such as transportation planning and Intelligent Transport Systems, ICT and business intelligence, city sustainability and green transport, and building. He also has strong working experience in strategic planning, and urban infrastructure investment within the Public Private Partnership (PPP) arena.
The countries he has lived including the UK, China (including HK), Singapore, Germany, and the Seychelles. Major infrastructure firms he has worked for included Scott Wilson/URS (now merged with AECOM), Mouchel, Colin Buchanan & Partners in the UK, and Egis Group in France.
