Kanuga is known for its comfortable accommodations. All the available accommodations options -- Main Lodge rooms, Cottage rooms and Guesthouse rooms -- are luxurious and beautifully maintained. We have done our best to provide some options with regard to price points; the main difference between options pertains to whether or not the given lodging option offers air conditioning.
The Main Lodge of 61 hotel-style rooms will house our Foray Registration Desk and some of our speakers' individual presentations. It features a large, winged dining hall, numerous meeting nooks, rocking-chair decks, a wonderfully whimsical gifts-and-sundries shop and even has its own library!
Please note the following with regard to air conditioning:
All of the Main Lodge rooms offer AC.
None of the Cottage rooms offer AC.
Some of the Guesthouse rooms offer AC.
To register for Appalachia NAMA 2023, each individual attendee will select one of the Packages below.

Large, comfortable, private room in shared Cottage/Guesthouse, with a number of bedrooms varying from 2 to 6, located a brief stroll (5 minutes or less) from the Main Lodge. Beautifully appointed and comfy, with a kitchenette and charming individual touches that make it feel like home. Each room contains either 1 queen-sized bed or 2 twin beds, a combination of private and "hall" bathrooms, a welcoming shared living room and two screened-in outdoor sitting porches with a porch swing, located across hall from bedrooms). There are ceiling fans on the porches and in the living rooms and box fans can be provided upon request.

Note: This ticket is for one person in a double occupied room. If you are a couple you will need to buy two of these tickets. If you have a roommate, they should buy this same ticket separately.
This is an add-on to an adult ticket and includes lodging and all meals in the dining hall for children aged 4 to 12.
Children aged birth to under 4 are free.
Children age 13 and up are charged as adults by Kanuga.
