Nancy started her education career as a high school teacher and FBLA adviser at Turlock High School for 14 years. One of her best achievements is being chosen as California FBLA adviser of the year during her last year at the high school. An opportunity to teach Office Administration at Modesto Junior College became available, and she has been teaching there for the past 23 years. Nancy has been teaching online courses for 20 years and enjoys learning new tips and methods to engage students. She has been a member of CBEA for 31 years and is currently in her fourth year as president of CBEA.

Ken Burrow

Ken Burrow is in his 12th year of teaching at Waverly-Shell Rock High School. He has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa, a Bachelor of Science in General Business Education and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Upper Iowa University. Ken is in his seventh year as a High School of Business instructor and has taught all eight courses. He is also the DECA advisor. Before teaching, Ken spent 20 years in the business world. His wife Beth teaches Social Studies and TAG, also at Waverly-Shell Rock. They have two adult children, a 3-year old grandson and a 1 year old granddaughter!

Tammy Cyrus is the Director of Professional Development for MBA Research. She has been a part of the MBA Professional Development Team since 2014 and has presented at numerous state and national conferences. She was a previous Business Administration teacher in North Carolina. She has received her Master of Arts in Business Education, and holds certifications for National Board of Professional Teaching Standards, School Administration, as well as industry recognized certifications in Adobe and Microsoft Office. Her professional experiences have included teaching at the post-secondary level, working on curriculum development teams, serving in numerous leadership roles, and serving as an adviser for FBLA. She is currently responsible for the PD Team, Teacher Advisory Network, Conclave, Leadership Forum, and providing professional development for teachers, districts, and state departments across the country.

Grant serves as the Northern California Program Coordinator for CTE TEACH and co-coordinates the statewide training program, developing CTE mentors for new CTE teachers in Northern California.
