L3 Exclusive Film Festival is back with a perspective changing agenda.

"Can We Change the Way We See the World?" is our theme with David Holbrooke connecting us to films and thought leaders.

Take the Hill

Take the Hill tells the story of Dick Grace, a legendary winery owner who forged a singular life in Napa Valley. A man of intriguing contradictions, Grace served in the U.S. Marines and later in life, became friends with the Dalai Lama. He made a lot of money in finance but gave much of it away. And while he is a recovering alcoholic that doesn't drink, Dick and Ann founded Grace Family Vinyards which makes one of the top-rated cabernets in the country.

Wearable Tracy

Designer Lee Kim found herself riding the subway while wearing a small hat she created out of pipe cleaners. Overwhelmed by the number of grins, inquisitive comments, and human connections she observed in the space of an hour, she began a 365-day project to create and wear a new hat each day. Lee's experiments continue to evolve, asking how we can form connections and share bright moments of joy together in isolation.

We Have Reached the Moment

We Have Reached the Moment follows Vic Barret's journey as he shares the impacts of the climate crisis with his climate-denying father. Adding to this deeply-emotional challenge is Vic's concurrent gender transition, which simultaneously shifts their relationship from father-daughter to father-son.

Vic, like any one of us, desires acceptance, love, and support from his parent, but how do you connect with loved ones when their belief systems undermine your very identity and right to a safe future?

Special guest: Mo Fathelbab will lead us in a forum discussion.
