Ali is a Serial Entrepreneur and expert in tech and policy/regulatory landscape of the tech sector in Africa and beyond. He consults on Digital Transformation and works on two of his latest startups in the Fintech and eSupply Chain Platform in the FMCG Sector. In addition, he serves on several Boards in the private and public sectors, such as Chairman of the Association of Fintechs in Kenya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kenya ICT Action Network, and Member of the National Technical Committee of the Kenya National Innovation Agency.

Ali is also an Advisory Board Member of Fintech - Mifos Initiative, a Board Member and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of Longhorn Publishers, and an Oversight Board Member and Chair of the Projects and Resource Mobilization Committee of the Kenya Tourism Promotion Fund. He takes pride in mentoring and investing in Tech Entrepreneurs across Africa.

With his expertise, Ali plays an active role in Kenya's innovation and development, and he aims to make a positive impact through his work. He is deeply involved in promoting fintech and supporting microfinance institutions, open-source banking, and mobile platforms for this industry. Furthermore, he advocates for the tourism industry's growth, especially with strategic interventions through the Kenya Tourism Promotion Fund.

Rosalind has over two decades of experience in various leadership positions in the FMCG, consumer beverage, and banking and financial services industries. She has worked for companies such as P&G, Coca-Cola Sabco, The Coca-Cola Company, NIC Group PLC, NCBA Group PLC, and KCB Group PLC. Rosalind is passionate about building strong global and local brands, which she began doing as a Brand Manager for the Duracell and Oral-B/Braun brands in the US.

Throughout her career, she has established brand leadership in relationship management, innovation, and relevance to target markets through inspirational and emotional brand messaging and communication strategies. She is commercially minded and focused on business growth, guiding diverse teams in executing, monitoring, and evaluating opportunities and results. Rosalind led the brand creation of NCBA Group from the merger of NIC Group and Commercial Bank of Africa, one of the largest banking mergers in Sub-Saharan Africa that provided over 100% volume growth.

Currently, she serves as the Group Director of Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Citizenship at KCB Group PLC. She is responsible for designing, aligning, managing, and delivering the company's marketing strategy, corporate affairs and communication, sustainability agenda, strategic CSR and citizenship agendas, and shared value creation programs to drive growth, sustenance, and fulfillment of KCB Group's social impact goals, brand promise, profitability, brand strength, market share, and stakeholder relations.

Grace is currently the Deputy Commissioner Marketing and Communication at Kenya Revenue Authority. She spearheads KRA’s corporate efforts to facilitate service delivery reforms, stakeholder engagement, tax awareness, and advocacy geared towards fostering sustainable voluntary tax compliance. She previously served as the Director Strategy & Marketing at Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat.

Grace has deep interest in public policy and is currently focused on instituting and driving public service delivery, multi-stakeholder engagement activities between government and key actors and promoting education and awareness programs for enhanced voluntary tax compliance. She has been involved in new market development initiatives as well as managing brand portfolios in both the public and private sector.

Grace holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Daystar University, a bachelor’s degree in education from Moi University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Policy and Practice from University of Cape town and Certification from the London School of Economics in Public Policy. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM).

Grace is an alumnus of the Swedish Institute of Management (SIMP) a sustainability program focused on nurturing upcoming leaders in Africa. She has received a presidential award, Moran of the Burning Spear (M.B.S) in recognition of her contribution to public service in Kenya. She is also a certified Executive Coach from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and derives satisfaction from helping executives in developing their leadership and management capabilities.

Joseph Choge is the current Group Managing Director of Unga Group PLC, a company listed on the Nairobi stock exchange that offers human and animal nutritional products. He has a background in finance and telecommunications, having previously held positions as General Manager Telecoms for IPS in Uganda and GM Finance for Airtel Gabon, among others. He is also an alumnus of the Senior Management Leadership Programme from Strathmore Business School.

Joseph is a numbers-oriented individual, with a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from the University of London. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and Certified Public Secretary (CPS), as well as a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Joseph was recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 by the business daily Africa, and is known for turning around companies and doubling profits within a year of being appointed CEO.

Joseph's success is an inspiration, especially considering his humble beginnings in Turkana, where he attended primary school. His rise to top management positions in multinational organizations in his early thirties shows that one can turn any challenge into an advantage with hard work and determination. In his leisure time, Joseph enjoys riding motorbikes.

Mutanu is the founder of Brand Spark, an Advisory Public Relations firm based in Nairobi, that spotlights Africa’s brands so that they are seen, known and heard.

She is passionate about equipping African entrepreneurs with skills to increase their sales, especially those that are women owned and led.

With more than a decade of PR experience under her belt, Mutanu has a knack for simplifying complex concepts into manageable messages and tasks. This has seen her collaborate with hundreds of corporations and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO's) to successfully launch ideas, products and services into the market and sustain their visibility.

Mutanu is a mentor, a public speaker, and is the Vice President of Membership (VPM) at her Toastmasters Club, an international leadership and development movement.

Mutanu is a Marketing Communications enthusiast who is passionate about designing solutions that will increase sales for African entrepreneurs especially those that are women owned and led.

Andrew Lewela (CEO of Kenya Network Information Centre (KENIC))

Andrew is the CEO of the Kenya Network Information Centre (KENIC). KENIC is the entity charged with the management and administration of the .KE domain, Kenya's Country Code Top Level Domain. KENIC's mandate is to provide corporates, businesses, and individuals with the opportunity to have an online presence, professional email addresses and websites on the .KE platform.

Andrew joined KENIC on February1st, 2023. He joined KENIC from Sambali Group Ltd where he was building a technology and government affairs advisory practice. Before starting his practice, Andrew worked at Checkpoint Software Technologies advising the government and telcos on Cybersecurity investments. He is an experienced digital economy and public policy professional with a wealth of experience in software/technology sales, country marketing/positioning, strategic planning, project management, government affairs and product development, having spent over 18 years in various roles within the public and private sectors. Some of the organisations that have shaped Andrew’s career include ICT Authority, Safaricom, Oracle, International Trade Centre, and Cellulant. He also lectured in project management at the Kenya Methodist University (Nairobi campus). Andrew has research interests in the convergence of policy, development and the digital economy.

Andrew holds a Master of Commerce (Management Information Systems & Project Management) from Deakin University, Master of Public Policy, and Management (pending dissertation) from Strathmore Business School, Graduate Diploma in Management Information Systems jointly from Strathmore and Greenwich university, Certificate, International Module for Global Leaders from New York University-Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics & Physics) from the university of Nairobi. Andrew is also an alumnus of Starehe Boys’ Centre.

When not too busy working with other leaders to put Kenya on the map as the Silicon Savannah, Andrew enjoys the outdoors and debating on the topics of leadership and philosophy.

Daniel leads the Insights Division for Kantar in East Africa. Having started as a political and social researcher with Kantar TNS in the UK, he made the move to Kenya and Commercial Insights in 2013. He was searching for new challenges and experiences, and he has been in Nairobi ever since. It is here where he discovered the love of providing insights and consultancy to partners operating in a dynamic, challenging and fast-growing market.
