Pacific Northwest NAMA Camp FAQ - Frequently asked questions:
I'm having trouble registering. What's the trick?
Is NAMA offering any shuttles or transportation services if flying in from out of town?
We aren't offering any shuttles from the Portland or Seattle airports, but we do have a Community forum for folks to find other travelers and potentially share rental cars in the Rideshare Group on the forum.
Can couples and or families stay together in the same bunkhouse?
Due to the bathroom configuration, the bunkhouses are separated by gender, and we're unable to house couples and families together. When you register, let us know who's in your group, and we'll try to assign you to adjacent bunkhouses.
Do I need to bring my own bedding?
Yes, you'll need to bring your bedding and toiletries if you're staying on-site. If you want to purchase a sleeping bag, you can do so in the "Add On" section
If I want to arrange my own housing, what are my options?
There are several hotels and local Airbnb's in Packwood, Washington, about 30 minutes from the Cispus Learning Center. You can purchase a Commuter Pass, arrange for your lodging, and then drive into the event.
Do you have RV hookups?
Officially, it's dry camping. We have one site for filling water tanks, dumping, and flushing. There is a bathroom building for campers, and folks can also use bunkhouse showers.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted at this event. Registered service animals are welcome, provided that the registration papers are provided to the foray registrar in advance of your arrival so that she can provide them to Cispus.
Are there any Cispus Policies I should be aware of?
What if I need to cancel?
Please note that following the completion of the purchase, all cancellations of registration for Pacific Northwest NAMA Camp will be subject to a cancellation fee according to the cancellation fee schedule provided below. Cancellations must be sent in writing to our Foray Registrar, Peggy Green, via email at forayregistrar@namyco.org. Please review the following cancellation timeline policies carefully, noting that all mentions of time are to be understood as occurring in Central Time:
Upon request, we will be happy to send a donation letter from NAMA acknowledging all canceled event registration fees as a tax-deductible donation to NAMA under the organization's designation by the U.S. Federal Government as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
