We will release the full and official schedule on September 1st. At that time we will also begins signups for Workshops and Forays.



Day 1 - Thursday Oct 31st, 2024 - Halloween

Event begins officially at 2pm Oct 31st at the Cispus Center with early-bird forays, classes and workshops.

Thursday evening keynote: Regina Johnson, restoration ecologist with South Sound Mushroom Club, will give an overview of the local biosphere, including fungi, trees, understory, and critters to look out for.

NAMAween! The Halloween evening social will have a trick-or-treat theme. You get to explore the CISPUS grounds and meet various people as you wander from station to station. Local vendors will share mushroom treats. You can dress up for this event, so bring your mushroom costume!


Day 2 - Friday Nov 1st, 2024

Forays, classes, workshops all day. Enjoy the amazing array of presentations, and/or join a foray in Gifford Pinchot foray with "mushroom-famous" folks. Registration for forays and workshops opens Sept 1st.

Friday evening keynote: Christian Schwarz, author and ecology expert. Need I say more? UV foray after.

Evening Socials "Catch and Cook" - culinary experts will prepare fungi you found on the forays.


Day 3 - Saturday Nov 2nd, 2024

A whole second day of workshops, forays, and classes. So you can try a little of everything! Plan to visit the art cave anytime during the event for drop-in art projects. Also culinary workshops and voucher table displays.

Saturday evening keynote: Chief Mycologist Noah Siegel, author one of the few people comfortable with the title, "Mushroom Expert".  UV foray with Alan Rockefeller, and others, after the presentation.

Evening Socials will offer mushroom mixology - cocktails and mocktails. Also cooking stations for edible fungi.


Day 4 - Sunday Nov 3rd, 2024 - Daylight Savings Time ends, set your clocks back 1 hour!

Our final day focuses on the voucher tables and the amazing fungi found. The culinary team will also talk about edible fungi. Pack up, and hug your friends good-bye. The event ends with lunch to get you on the road. There will be some after-event forays on the way out, but we won't return to the campus.  Everyone on the road by 1pm please.
