Course Information


The Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute is pleased to offer its Prosecuting Homicide Cases course. A faculty of veteran prosecutors and experts will provide comprehensive training on issues surrounding the prosecution of homicide cases by providing insight that will increase your ability to successfully overcome any challenge the defense may present. Topics will include the causes of death in homicides, video and phone evidence, mental health defenses, professional ethics and drug delivery resulting in death.


Registration


To register online, click the Register button at the top of the page. You can also fill out and email your registration form to pdaa@pdaa.org or mail the form with your food and beverage fee to PDAI headquarters no later than April 1, 2025 by 4:30 PM.


Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to the first 50 registrants.Registration for this conference is restricted to prosecutors currently employed in Pennsylvania by a county district attorney's office or the PA Office of Attorney General. The PDAI reserves the right to decline registrants who do not meet the criteria.


Accommodations


A block of rooms has been reserved at the Graduate by Hilton State College at the rate of $124.00 per night for single or double occupancy plus state and local taxes. The room rate is a separate charge paid directly to the Graduate by Hilton State College. It is not included in the *food and beverage fee. You may make your reservations online here or by calling the Graduate by Hilton State College directly at 814-231-2100 by April 1, 2025 by 4:30 PM. Please be sure to mention the conference in order to receive the group rate.


Cancellation Policy


Those who cancel on or before April 11, 2025 by 4:30 PM will be refunded the full fee. To cancel, please email Tรกmara Heagy at theagy@pdaa.org. No refunds can be issued for cancellations received after April 11, 2025 by 4:30 PM. Those who have not paid will still be required to send payment. As always, substitutions are allowed for persons who have to cancel after the cancellation date.
