'NURTURING THE NEXT MARKETING MAVERICKS'
MSK is the national umbrella body for all marketers in Kenya whose key mandate is to empower and regulate the marketing industry by creating policy that governs the Marketing Industry (self-regulated), education and training of professionals, corporates and entrepreneurs, marketing and business mentorship and arbitration through the Advertising Standards Board.
Currently, the up take of the marketing degree is multiply challenged by misconstrued perceptions such as Marketing is: 'hawking', 'unprofessional, thus requiring no special training', 'not a challenging enough field', 'too theoretical and limited in practise'
The aim of this event is to encourage the marketer at university level to confidently take up marketing as a profession and pursue it with excellence through interacting with those of like mind and learning from those with proficiency in the field.
