Sessions explore strategies and resources to build capacity and ensure equity for all children from birth to grade 3. This year's Roundtable topics include the early educator workforce, PreK expansion and alignment, the science of reading, and many more! We'll hear from national leaders and early childhood experts, with a focus on strengthening state-to-state partnerships. Each day includes small group discussions and networking hours for state leaders to talk and build relationships.

This session is for attendees serving in roles responsible for leading data-driven decisions about preschool policies to improve experiences for children, families, and the workforce. Participants will have an opportunity to preview a new tool that outlines questions preschool leaders can ask about where inequities may exist in their preschool system. Then, participants can explore the types of data and measures they can leverage to answer these questions and provide feedback to the Child Trends team on the tool through guided facilitation. Over the past several months, ECTA has partnered with a diverse group of cross-sector critical perspectives, including families, to engage in an iterative co-development process for drafting competencies for leading equitable and inclusive early intervention and preschool special education programs. This set of competencies focuses on a specific area of leadership: the knowledge, skills, and behaviors that are essential for leading improvements to equitable access, services, and supports for children with disabilities and their families that result in positive outcomes not correlated with race, language, income, or other demographics.

CONFERENCE FACILITY AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS
The discounted group room rate at the Bethesdan Hotel is $239.00 per night. (For rate totals, please add 7% occupancy tax and 6% sales tax.)
Please book your hotel reservations before the deadline of Tuesday, September 19! We recommend that you reserve a room as soon as possible to assure you are able to get a room in the group room block before it sells out. This discounted rate will be available for two days before and two days after the actual conference dates. Hotel room and tax charges during your stay will be your responsibility, so please be prepared to present a credit card or alternate form of payment when you check in. Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM. Internet access in all sleeping rooms is included at no extra charge.

To confirm a sleeping room within the room block, it must be secured with a valid credit card at the time the reservation is made. Please book your airline itineraries to arrive in Bethesda on Wednesday, October 11 in time for optional pre-conference programming or plan for the 8:00 am start time on Thursday, October 12.
